Case Studies #1

Episode #15: Case Studies #1

Fun Fact:
The body has 206 bones and ¼ of those bones are found in your two feet. The more bones you have in a region, the more joints there are between them. This allows our feet to provide a multitude of proprioceptive feedback. This makes sense as they are constantly in contact with our external environment

Health Hack:

Gratitude is an extremely potent health promoting practice for many reasons (1,2,3,4,5,6). It was more recently discovered that receiving genuine gratitude has more objective health benefits than giving gratitude (7,8). It was also discovered that the gratitude being received did not have to be to the individual personally but could be experienced as a narrative of a story (7,8). This means one can use the story of gratitude being received to promote better health outcomes.
